Geomancy is a mother of Astrology. Modern Astrology still relies on Geomancy. Astrology houses actually came from Geomancy. Most Astrological symbols also belong to Geomancy. Geomancy is a very old knowledge, much older than the Astrology.
According to legend, Geomancy belongs to the Prophet Daniel. Some Geomancy principals are laid out in a Book that Prophet Daniel was using for his predictions. Then Geomancy went to Iran.
